Chinese national jailed for bribing policeman with sex

AsiaOne
Thursday, Jan 12, 2012

A Chinese national who was caught overstaying on her social visit pass tried to bribe the policeman who arrested her by offering him sexual favours.

The Straits Times reported that Guo Cheng Cheng, 25, was caught by police on Nov 22 at New Bridge Road when police responded to a woman who claimed Guo had assaulted her. She was unemployed then.

Sergeant Tong Ee Phor and his partner arrived at the scene, and asked for her identification documents. Her social visit pass had already expired on June 24, 2010.

She then tried to bribe Sergeant Tong with an offer that she will do anything for him, 'including my body', if he let her off.

Guo repeated the same offer two more times, despite being warned by the officer that bribery was an offence.

The policeman subsequently lodged a complaint with the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau.

Guo was sentenced to two months jail and fined $3,000 for overstaying, and another six months for corruption. No charges were brought against her for the alleged assault.

If Guo was able to read ABC, she wouldn't have made the offer. The officer's surname tells the whole story. A "Tong" simply means tong-kau-liao. Then go back Police Cantonment Complex (PCC) to pcc.
