Stomp has reported an incident with regard to what a netizen saw at Admiralty
Link on Wednesday (10 Jul).
A netizen, Mark, was appalled to see a PRC couple allowing their child to
defecate by the road side at Admiralty Link:
Mark, not being able to stand the sight, went to tell the PRC couple off.
The PRC couple told Mark they would clean up the shit later.
Mark said, “On the morning of July 10, I saw a couple from China allowing
their kid to poop at the road side. The location was at block 487 Admiralty
Link.”
Mark was able to tell that the couple are from PRC because of their
accents.
He said, “Confirmed they are from China because I told him off.”
“They said they would clean it up later.”
Mark said he did see them picking up “something” with a tissue paper later
but he was not able to verify if they had picked everything up.
Due to the Govt’s open-door policy, 2 million foreigners are now working and
living in Singapore. Many of them, especially those from Third World countries,
bring with them Third World habits and customs, angering many native
Singaporeans.
In March this year, a reader sent the following picture to TRE (‘Guys, can you guess what is it?‘):
The reader wrote:
Guess what I saw during my morning walk (9 Mar) along the NParks
connector.
Every passerby was curious, what is these hanging on the long sketch railing
fencing. Was it rubbish, torn clothes or ? There’s these sour smell from it,
closer look, cabbages alike dried under the sun as preservative vegetable.
One passerby Philippines woman even asked me, “is it rubbish?”
Guess, who will do such things, familiar kind of hand preparation? the answer is obvious, isn’t it?
It appears that the Govt is having a hard time trying to integrate these
foreigners into Singapore society.
