SMRT said the delay on Bukit Panjang LRT on Sunday morning was due to a power fault that occurred between Fajar and Bangkit stations at about 9.20am.

SINGAPORE: Commuters on the Bukit Panjang LRT experienced a slight delay on Sunday morning.

SMRT said a power fault occurred between Fajar and Bangkit stations at about 9.20am.

SMRT said staff were deployed to the affected train to recover the fault.

A recovery unit was despatched to push the affected train to Bangkit station where passengers were asked to alight.

The defective train was sent back to the depot.

SMRT said normal train service resumed at 10.05am.

nothing new in MRT disruption.
i will vote for PAP if there is no disruption.
 
MRT breaknows and floods are the new normal in this sinkieland.
 
This is because fare not increased yet, so must increase somemore!!! ;)
 
Having the LRT was stupid anyway. What it did was reduce the bus services and create an eyesore.

All for some silly slow-speed, driverless small train of which the windows automatically fog up every now and then. :rolleyes:

lrt do not work well in singapore.
image 1 rail is down...entire system will be grounded.
for bus, it is unlikely entire troop of buses are down.
 
The focus of the report seems to be on service recovery.
Welcome to the new normal.
