Taiwan announced Level 3 restrictions yesterday. In the event that COVID-19 worsens in Taiwan, a national Level 4 restrictions will trigger the shut down of businesses and completely disruption global semiconductor chip production.

This week, mayors of Taipei and New Taipei have both hinted about imposing Level 4 restrictions within their cities (not nationwide) if the situation persists.
