Can recommend mobile charger for hp? Don't mind pay for abit more if it's effective & reliable. Too many brand names in the market so headache which to choose from.

Sometime surf halfway battery flat while out of office, damn sian. I used to buy extra battery but find it too troublesome. So thinking of buying portable charger that can charge the hp for a few times.

My Samsung S1 was quoted merely $130 in the mobile shop while S2 will be $250-300. Is that the market rate?

i use energizer portable charger... less than $100 i think. 4000 mb

Thanks tonychat! I saw some are $40 above. I think it depends on mb. As energizer is the battery manufacturer, so this brand shd be reliable. :)

"The Panasonic Mobile Booster QE-QL101 is equivalent to the Sanyo Eneloop Mobile Booster KBC-L3AS but with an additional capacity of 200mAh (2,700mAh vs 2,500mAh). The output Ampere has also been increased from 500mA to 1A.

The Panasonic Mobile Booster QE-QL201 is equivalent to the Sanyo Eneloop Mobile Booster KBC-L2B but with an additional capacity of 400mAh (5,400mAh vs 5,000mAh).

The USB charging method of the Mobile Booster has been changed from Mini USB to Micro USB. This is a much welcomed change as these days all mobile phones manufacturers (except Apple) uses Micro USB. But nevertheless you still can charge the Mobile Booster over a regular electrical outlet with the bundled AC Adapter.

Panasonic Mobile Booster QE-QL101 Specifications

Input: DC 5V 500mA/1A
Output USB x 1 port, DC 5V Max 1A
Size: 39mm x 70mm x 22mm
Weight: 78g
Battery: Li-ion 3.7V 2,700mAh
Battery Charging Time: 7 hours (Micro USB), 3.5 hours (AC Adapter) "

Mugen battery packs. Double your battery life.

Personally I haven't used them. But I heard they are good.

oh yes..

normally a full phone charge is 2000mAh.. so if you get a 4000 one, you can charge twice in a day.

The battery capacity of each phone varies from model to brand. An iphone's battery capacity is around 1250mah, Ts mentioned he uses an S1 and i'm not sure how much an s1 holds but i'm assuming it's going to be less than an iphone.

The phone that has 2000mah and upwards capacity should be the s3 and the note and note2. I'm using anker batteries for my note which hold around 2500mah.

yup there's lots of batteries with lots of juice in them can even charge up lap tops but seriously i would rather carry a spare battery rather than use the external charger. The external chargers should only be used on phones like the iphone whereby you cannot remove the batt. Last time i had the external battery, a retractable wire attached to my iphone charging it when the battery was low so sometimes it's quite difficult to use the phone cos it's attached to a wire. Now with my note i just open it up and change to a fully charged battery. It's better this way i feel.
