Virginity has NEVER been a criterion for becoming a priest of the Roman Catholic church.
Any man, married/divorced/non-virgin, is welcome to join the priesthood of the Roman Catholic Church. But once ordained a priest, he has to observe celibacy for as long as he remains in the priesthood. If he can't do that, he will have to tender his resignation to the Church. He will become a layman.
But priests who belong to the Eastern Orthodox tradition do NOT need to observe celibacy. They can continue to have sexual relations with their wives.
One must remember that ALL apostles of Jesus, including St Paul of Tarsus, with possibly the exception of St. John the Beloved, were married men when they carried on the work of their Master after His ascension to heaven. Their wives accompanied them on their missionary work.
Will he be issuing condoms to altar boys?Father William is a nice man. He is always thoughtful of others and the community.
Sigh,,,the devil and its minions..dissing Mother Theresa,,,well bad news makes news
Will he be issuing condoms to altar boys?

Bro, the catholic church has admitted many saints were bad sinners,,,look at St Augustine,,but the church also preaches that all can be saved,,even sinners,,,anyway,,that talk show emphasis too much on being Saint is like being superman,,which is not,,saints are humans too
