hmm... wonder which part of Singapore is "ponding" now

Don't worry if you are living in the heartlands.

Ponding only occurs in high class places like Orchard, Cityhall and Bukit Timah etc

ooo... that time Eunos that side also kena a bit you know?

hi there

1. pond, ponding, flooding, rain or tsunami!
2. sheep still act clueless.

4. eunos kena big time this time.

last noted, the water accumulated by the road side run off quite quickly :o:o:o

was wondering if the water proofing of the circle lines were enough to protect the tunnels from getting wet. collapse of tunnel is no fun. then if the water proofing is well done, would it affect the run off of the water accumulated during sudden heavy down pours?:confused::confused:

Another afternoon of heavy showers and thunder has caused flash floods in several areas across Singapore.
Flash floods hit areas in Tampines, Sengkang, Eunos, Seletar and Bukit Timah, with other areas at risk of flooding, PUB said on Saturday afternoon.
Floods at Jalan Turi near Eunos caused the lanes to be unpassable, said PUB. Hill View Road was also flooded, but lanes were passable. PUB had issued an alert earlier in the afternoon, warning of moderate to heavy thundery showers over many areas in Singapore from 4.30pm to 6.45pm.
Water has now subsided in some areas. By 6.15pm, waters at Jalan Tari Lilin in Sengkang, Hill View Road and Swiss Club Road had lessened.

ponding is cool. our leaders have foresight. that's why primary school students are strongly encourage to take up swimming lessons.
