Polytechnic students help catch upskirt pervert

SINGAPORE: Police have arrested a 30-year-old man who took an upskirt video of a female victim at Seah Im Road Wednesday afternoon with the assistance of two public-spirited polytechnic students.
The suspect took the video with his mobile phone while riding an escalator behind the 30-year-old female victim.
His action was spotted by 19-year-old Mr Goh Dai En and Mr Jason Tan, who were riding the escalator in the opposite direction.
Both men shouted at the suspect, who fled towards a food court.
They managed to detain the suspect after a short chase and subsequently handed him over to the Police.
Investigations are ongoing.
If convicted, the suspect may be jailed for up to a year and fined.
