MS MAY GOH, director, corporate communications office, Ngee Ann Polytechnic: 'I thank Miss Glenda Koh for her letter last Saturday, 'Poly carpark fee: I must pay $160 a year'. We have considered various options to address the problem of overcrowded carparks and haphazard parking on some days. To ensure that staff, students and visitors can be adequately served, a carpark label system is necessary. We have kept the carpark charge, at $80 per semester, as low as possible to cover only the basic administrative costs.'
