Policeman sentenced to 100 months jail for molesting six-year-old girl
GEORGE TOWN: The Sessions Court Thursday sentenced a policeman to 100 months (eight years and four months) jail after finding him guilty of molesting a six-year-old girl in 2011.
Judge Zainol Rashid Hussain ordered that corporal Aziri Sahid, 55, serve his sentence starting Thursday.
Aziri was found guilty of molesting the girl sometime between May 28 and June 12, 2011, in his house at the police barracks in Bandar Baru Air Itam.
He was represented by counsel S. Yagoo while DPP Norashikin Mokhtar prosecuted. - Bernama
