SINGAPORE - More than 11,000 units of sexual enhancement drugs were found in a container at a warehouse in Tuas, the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) said on Friday (Oct 13).

The drugs were stored in a 40-footer container at a warehouse in Gul Way. ICA officers were conducting checks at around 2.15pm on Monday when they noticed four crates declared as "plastic household wares and wooden toys".

They opened one of the crates and found sexual enhancement drugs. After examining the remaining crates, the officers found more such drugs.

A total of 11,033 units of sexual enhancement drugs, worth an estimated $178,000, were found.

The drugs were handed over to the Health Sciences Authority for investigations.

Just last month, the HSA seized about 300,000 units of illegal sexual enhancement drugs in Geylang. The drugs, found in a private residential apartment in Lorong 32 Geylang, were worth more than $700,000.
