Police seize a pistol and seven assault rifles in Kedah

Police showing journalists the seized assaults rifles and pistol during a press conference which was held at State Police Contingent Headquarters at Jalan Stadium, Alor Setar, Kedah.

ALOR SETAR: Kedah police seized seven assault rifles, a pistols, live bullets and magazines at a house in Batu 27 Jalan Naka - Nami at 5am on Thursday.

Police also arrested two men one aged, 50, at the house and another 53-year old man in Kuala Kedah in relation to the seizure.

The seized weapons are a semi-automatic baretta pistol, three AK47 rifles, three M4 rifles and homemade rifles.

Kedah police chief Senior Deputy Comm Datuk Ahmad Ibrahim said the seizure was made under Ops Cantas Khas.
