Police nabs 52-year-old man for acts of vandalism

SINGAPORE - Police have arrested a 52-year-old man believed to be responsible for a series of vandalism acts in two neighbourhood estates
The police received several reports of vandalism acts between Dec 14 and 25.
The reports detailed glass panels being damaged at lift lobbies and bus stops in Ang Mo Kio and Yishun.
After conducting ground investigations, the officers managed to establish the identity of the culprit.
On Dec 26, at around 6.30pm, they mounted an operation to nab the suspect at Ang Mo Kio MRT station.
Further investigations revealed that the man is believed to be involved in at least eight other cases of reported vandalism acts committed in public areas within the two said neighbourhoods.
If convicted, he faces a jail term of up to three years or a fine, and caning.
