Police nab over 400 suspects in week-long operation

SINGAPORE: Police nabbed 409 people in a week-long operation which ended early Saturday (Sep 6) morning.
Police officers carried out enforcement checks at public entertainment outlets and massage parlours, and busted four illegal gambling dens as well as two online vice syndicates operating out of hotels and private apartments.
The suspects, 78 men and 331 women, were arrested for various offences which include illegal employment, unlicensed moneylending, soliciting in public places and illegal punting.
The youngest suspect is 15 years old, while the oldest is 82. Investigations are ongoing.
