Police nab 46-year-old man for molest

SINGAPORE - Police have arrested a 46-year-old man for a case of Outrage of Modesty.

On July 12, at around 3.17am, a 31-year-old woman was molested in the vicinity of Woodlands Avenue 6.

The following night at about 11.05pm, her family member spotted the suspect in the same area and notified the police.

Officers from Jurong Police Division were dispatched and promptly arrested the man.

Investigations against the suspect are still ongoing.

In convicted, he may be jailed for up to two years, or fined, and is also be liable to caning.
