Police issue crime prevention reminder for Geylang Serai Hari Raya Bazaar

SINGAPORE: Police are advising the public to remain vigilant against crime in crowded places.
The reminder comes as large crowds are expected at the Geylang Serai Hari Raya Bazaar that is on until August 18.
The public should watch their personal belongings and be attentive to their surroundings.
Heavy vehicular traffic is also expected along Changi Road and Sims Ave daily from 6.00 pm onwards.
Police advise motorists to avoid the affected roads, make alternative travel arrangements and drive with caution.
