Police detain three in connection with fatal shooting incident in Kelantan

KOTA BARU: Kelantan police on Monday detained three men, including a 19-year-old youth, to facilitate investigation into a shooting incident at Kampung Kemasin, Bachok, in February.
Kelantan deputy police chief Datuk Mazlan Lazim said the three men were detained during a raid at a house in Kampung Telaga Mas, Rantau Panjang, Pasir Mas at 5.45am.
The suspects would be remanded for seven days starting Monday, to help in investigations under Section 302 of the Penal Code, for murder, he told a media conference at the Kelantan Police Headquarters, here.
During the Feb 15 incident, a man in his 50s was killed after he was shot and slashed by two men while having breakfast with his family at a stall in Kampung Kemasin.
He said police were looking for Hatim Mohd Zin, 24, of Kampung Padang Lati, Bekelam, Bachok, to help in investigations. - Bernama
