The Singapore Police announced that two suspect aged 18 and 53 were arrested for sending threatening letters and hell bank notes to several PAP Ministers.

They were nabbed after investigations revealed their identities and several handwritten letters, mobile phones, laptops, envelopes and hell bank notes were seized during the arrests.

On 29 April 2017, DPM Tharman received a threatening letter which expressed anger over the closure of the Thieves Market and allegedly told the PAP Minister to not forget the 200 people and supporters and that they only ask for this place to do their business.

Police are still investigating the threatening letters.
