Give face, give face. PM lauches his own FaceBook.
Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong launched his official Facebook page on Friday afternoon.
On his Facebook page, Mr Lee said many of his colleagues have been using social media, including Facebook, and they had encouraged him to start his own Facebook page.
Having watched them, he decided to join the fun.
Mr Lee said he would use his Facebook page to talk about some of the things he is doing and thinking about, and encouraged Facebook users to share their views.
He said he would like to use the page to help shape ideas and understanding of what "we can do together to improve our lives".
Mr Lee also welcomed Facebook users to write in Malay, Chinese or Tamil.
Mr Lee's Facebook page sports the new timeline format, and includes pictures marking several important milestones in his life, such as his swearing in as Singapore's Prime Minister in 2004, and his marriage to Ms Ho Ching on December 17, 1985.
Mr Lee also launched his official Twitter account on Friday.
