Because Sinkies have witnessed what happened to CSJ, JBJ, TLH etc.
Once the Lees sue you, you're fucked.
Certainly, you can apply for legal counsel (assuming there's a lawyer brave enough to represent you), but even if the chances of winning are hypothetically 50-50, in a long drawn legal attrition battle, you'll lose due to a lack of resources.

In essence, this is hooliganism. Instead, of sending thugs to rough you up or mess up your property, they step on your head in court.

I doubt the world cares about what goes on in Spore. The PAP has bought them off with our billions.

I think it's a fair observation & I'm sure many Sporeans have similar concerns & questions. Of course the Lee's control the courts & they can sue anyone with impunity.
They may win a court case, but not the support of the "lesser mortals".
