PM encouraged Police "NOT TO HEED" online criticism about their actions

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on Tuesday morning heard first hand from 38 Home Team officers who were the first responders in the Dec 8 Little India riot.

Over breakfast at Rochor Neighbourhood Police Centre, Mr Lee spent more than an hour listening to their accounts, including of projectiles being thrown at them as they did their rescue work and crowd control.

He thanked them for performing their duty with courage and collectedness, and encouraged them not to heed some of the online criticism about their actions.

The only thing luck of that incident, that no civilians lives or properties were burnt...like the May 13, 1969 riots at Petaling Street Kuala Lumpur!. The only thing, we were lucky that, when the clips fell off...the trains did not crash & lives were lost...WE WERE LUCKY..can we count on being LUCKY?

This prove to one & all, that they do not listen to you, us or.....if we continue to have this kind of people running this nation.....soon we were run out of luck. Aren't they ashamed that the POLICE RAN!???
