SINGAPORE – It is a ridiculous argument to say the PAP can lose ministers without weakening the Government, Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong said on April 29.
This is as every team has a range of members, some more critical and others playing complementary roles, he said at a walkabout at 630 Bedok Reservoir Road Market and Food Centre in Aljunied GRC.

Providing affordable homes to all S'poreans was LKY's promise and perhaps should have been his proudest achievement as PM. However, HDB housing no longer feels like a public good. The BTO pipeline is nothing but a bureaucratic black hole. Resale HDB prices are also crushing the aspirations of our young couples; their social mobility is being suffocated. The next generation firmly believe that they are being permanently priced out of the S'porean Dream. As this foundational belief shatters, everything else will crumble because inflation in SG is a problem of the PAP's own making. Who the fu-k is PM Wong to tell young S'poreans to abandon the 5Cs of cash, car, credit card, condo and country club when our own politicians cannot live without them?
