Are you a politician? If yes, how to expect people to vote for you when you are so ready to applaud anything negative that has befallen on Singapore? We call these people traitors!

There is no such rule that I will recognize nor comply. I apply any sarcasm as and when I like.:cool:

SINGAPORE: SP PowerGrid said a contractor carrying out telecoms works at Potong Pasir Ave 1 had damaged a cable, causing the 15-minute power outage in Bishan and parts of Ang Mo Kio Thursday afternoon.

SP PowerGrid said it's discussing with the Energy Market Authority (EMA) on appropriate follow-up actions to be taken.

The 15-minute blackout Thursday affected buildings and residents in the vicinity, as well as a number of MRT stations.

More than 7,000 commuters at 13 train stations from Newton to Marsiling on the North South Line were affected by the short power failure at around 1.30 pm.

Seventeen trains carrying passengers couldn't move and emergency power was triggered for lighting and ventilation in the carriages.

Services resumed after power was progressively restored.

Shops had to resort to manual practices as their cash machines stopped working and shoppers could not use their credit cards to pay.
