When NASA landed the new Curiosity Rover on the surface of Mars not long ago, they casually mentioned it had a "nuclear battery" that would power the vehicle for years. Cool. What they didn't mention however, is that the same battery can safely be used to power automobiles, trucks, ships, homes, scooters, laptops, and perhaps even cell phones for decades - without ever needing a recharge. Am I drunk or on drugs? Hardly.

This technology has been around and in use since 2006 and is currently used in many military applications like long-range torpedoes, stealth satellites, and now in a new electric tank that can cross an entire continent without ever needing a drop of gasoline or diesel fuel. The technology uses safe 100% natural Thorium as a fuel source - not deadly uranium. Thorium is abundant, half the cost of Uranium and yields 20 more times the energy output per ton, and only 8 grams can power your car or mine for 20 years or more for about $500.

You can read all about this technology and it's origins and inventors just by Googling "Plasma Battery Technology" or by visiting these three links. It is based on theories and concepts proven over 100 years ago by Nikolai Tesla.

And why they are not using it for the massess. Politically incorrect? Or economically incorrect.

How could they? If they did, all the poor terrorists from oil-rich countries would be out of jobs.

Cheers!

They should sell this to the mass, than those oil company will shit in their pant very soon.

Technology and machine is expensive to make.

"Nuclear" power generation has been set back at least 30 years due to the Chernobyl incident. Even the Fukushima incident is denting its public image even further. Most are just politics and public fear of the "radiation". If research and development had continued, we would have these batteries powering our phones, laptops by now. Thorium is a perfectly safe alternative, the real question is, will any company or country ever give it a try without public backlash?
