2016年7月,我国“海翼7000”完成了5751米的记录。2017年2月,“海翼7000”完成了6329米的水下无人滑翔机世界最深下潜纪录。从我国水下无人机的发展来看,其实时间比较晚,但是早于2016年“捕获”事件。捕获之后,有无进行技术借鉴,不得而知。

“海翼7000”水下滑翔机的运行采用的是无动力推进技术,因此,水下滑翔机滑翔时噪音极低,噪音低这个特点成就了其低可探测性,而低可探测性就是水下军事装备追求的目标。海翼7000使用浮力驱动方式,在其机身中间安装有类似“鱼鳔”的油囊,同时还有一块前后滑动的电池。
