Ninth on the list is gossiping. Yes the good old gossiping is ninth on the ugly traits of the Filipinos that became the past time of most people especially in the urban areas which causes fight amongst neighbors who gossip bad things and at the same time doesn't have any proof.
Eighth is lack of discipline. Yes you can see many people in the Philippines that lacks discipline, for example crossing the street even without the pedestrian lane or even when it is not the right time to do so. This is also the reason why there are a lot of road accidents in this country.
Seventh is racism. Oh yes Filipinos are racist like everybody in the world is they even criticize other Filipinos living in other regions which is not good as we all know.
Sixth would be the colonial mentality. People tend to buy things that are imported and doesn't even care for products that are made in their own country. They tend to buy branded shoes even if it's smuggled or fake as long as it's branded but doesn't have a good quality when in fact some of their products are better and are exported by other countries.
Next would be p---ing and spitting everywhere which is really a disgusting trait which could also be an example of our number eight. They p--- everywhere even if there are urinals and signs prohibiting them to piss or spit , but they are really stubborn.
Next is the short-term memory. This is the reason why many people are unemployed and tend to forget things easily. There are alot of reasons why they have short term memories one good example is distraction like noontime shows and game shows that cloud their minds causing them to forget things real quick.
Third is what they call "Filipino time". It means that they are not punctual and always comes late in meetings or jobs. They give so many alibis such as flat tire or the most commonly used "traffic jam".
Second on the list is laziness. Don't be shocked if you see a lot of men and women on the corner of the street with their bellies showing as if their pregnant because this people doesn't have a job for the reason that they are lazy and doesn't want to find a job. Making children became their past time which resulted to poverty. Laziness is the reason why many Filipinos experience poverty.
On top of the ugliest traits of Filipino people is "crab mentality". This is the ugliest trait of Filipinos that sums up all the other eight ugly traits and this explains everything so don't be shocked if you see all these Filipino traits if you visit Philippines.
