yes, culpo is italian. and olivia culpo is of majority italian descent as her dad is american-italian and mom is of mixed irish and italian ancestry. culpa in spanish and latin means fault or blame. the root of it is latin. and yes, italians may be the original users of latin, but spaniards and portuguese also derive their respective languages from latin. a reason why they are called latina and latino. but, yes, italians in america are regarded as white, with latin roots. but they are not regarded as hispanics. all mulato latinos are regarded as hispanics, including native mexican indians. don't know why, but u.s. ethnic classifications are nonsensical.
