Foreigner asking for 4 times salary increase: Has his productivity increased as much?

A screenshot of an email from a foreign job applicant asking for a four-fold increase of his previous salary caught the attention of STOMPer SgBoy.

The STOMPer wrote:

"When Prime minister Lee stressed to Singaporeans that if they wanted an increase in wages, their productivity must increase as well.

"This is a screenshot of a foreigner asking for four times his last drawn salary -- where is the productivity?"

SG$500 salary is currently what he getting pay to work in Philippine . Asking for salary SG$2000 if working in Singapore. Nothing wrong.
Just like construction worker in Bangla/India work in home town getting SG$300~$400 come to Singapore $1000~$1500/month.
