The money is FREE FLOW...everyday someone is working, blood, sweat & tears...Warren Buffet have to borrow that money in order to generate an Income, estimate a ROI...but, where on earth can you find such FREE FLOW money..Warren Buffet is certainly envious & so are any others on this earth.

Take away that FREE FLOW money...then, we can praise!

It is because of huge budget surpluses and large sovereign wealth funds that we are able to punch above our own weight.

Singapore is a small country. We have to go to extraordinary lengths to become extraordinary. Everyone must understand the nature of this sacrifice. It is the right thing to do.

Without Temasek and GIC's global portfolio of over half a trillion dollars, Singapore would not be able to stand tall and command respect on the world stage. We would be belittled by everyone and we would be insignificant.

Secondly, it has nothing to do with our swf that companies are coming here. Its because of our very low corporate tax, relatively stable government and a pool of cheap educated labour.

And the global search was not only for him, it was also done for the current CEO. They searched the whole world and found her.
