On 17 April 2009, we sent a field reporter down to Geylang Serai temporary market to interview its committee members. Unfortunately, there is nobody in the office and so we asked him to make use of the opportunity to take a few photos of the surroundings. It does appear that there is general state of hygiene is still substandard even after the spring-cleaning.
