Iran has the fastest growing Christian population in the world, with reports that more Iranians have converted to Christianity in the last 20 years than in the previous 13 centuries combined. Despite strict govt restrictions and the risk of death for leaving Islam, estimates suggest there are now over 1 million Christians in Iran, up from only a few hundred in 1979.
