So far, the reaction to his death has been somewhat cold and subdued. Aside from LHL who appeared grief stricken, there does not appear to have been any widespread outpouring of grief. Few Singaporeans appear to be making it a priority to take time off and take part in the "national mourning". This is reflected by the small and modest crowds which have showed up.

In johore, they are celebrating. the sultan announce a holiday for the state today. Now maybe we can have that bridge instead of a causeway to developed a sustainable marina and boating culture amongst the locals.

what the use of a bridge when sultan residential development is reclaiming the Johor straits right up to spore line of control? the whole area fishing industry has kaput.
