[h=1]Chinatown building's poor parking facilities and staff attitude[/h]
<!--start of story text--><!--start of story text-->I CHECKED Chinatown Point's website for its parking charges because I needed to visit the area on Sunday. The parking charge advertised for Sundays and public holidays was $2 per entry, so I decided to park there.
When I reached the carpark, I was dismayed by its filthy condition. There were also puddles of water, and foreign workers were milling around. Many of the doors were locked and I was unable to leave the carpark.
When I drove to exit the carpark, I was shocked by the charge of $4.27.
After many calls, I managed to speak yesterday with employees of GTech, which runs the carpark at Chinatown Point, and I was told that the charges had been revised, and that I should have known.
How would I know if information has not been clearly communicated to motorists?
The misleading information on charges was exacerbated by the poor attitude of the parking staff.
