Part-timer nabbed for office burglary

SINGAPORE - A 22-year-old man was arrested for allegedly breaking into a company that he was working with and stealing $350.
It is believed that the suspect broke into the premises at Blk 1017, Upper Serangoon Road, on April 22, and took the cash from a drawer.
Police investigations subsequently identified the suspect as a part-time worker with the company.
He was arrested in Tampines on April 26 and found with $20, which is believed to be part of the loot from the burglary.
He is being investigated for the offence of Housebreaking by Night, which carries a maximum penalty of 14 years in jail.
