Expect things to be far worse if the WP ever gains power.

This is "fear mongering" as you can never truly predict what might or might not happen.
It's the same when it comes to companies wanting to hire new recruits. Do they take in totally fresh ppl, and train them? Or do they need experienced ppl so as to spend less time to train them.. but pay more for their experience?

Experience doesn't mean you don't have things to learn.. and that person might have "baggages" like bad habbits learnt from other places.. that present position cannot allow.

But if everyone thinks like you, sir.. then why would anyone give FRESH GRADS any chance?!! They have no experience (mostly.. except interns). If no experience means "no need to apply", then poaching will be prevalent, there will be no "new blood", maybe even no new ideas and new approaches that might work.

So.. in all politeness.. but in real terms, stuff it man. Your view just don't cut it in real life.

However, the WP are a bunch of clowns. They didn't earn the nickname "Wayang Party" for nothing. It's one thing to attend wakes and show sympathy and empathy for a bunch of residents in your ward. Running a country is a different ball game altogether. With the WP at the helm, it would be an absolute disaster.

Many friends of mine have sons and daughters who are Uni Grads and have faced similar situations where employers ask them for "experience" when interviewing for positions. In the end.. most of these positions went to foreigners.

And in case you are not aware.. WP already has ppl in the parliament.. and so far.. not as "wayang" as the PAP.

Why do I say that? Look at VB.. talk so much about integrity.. until the Kovan double murder case.. and then the CPIB issue.. now.. SILENT!!

What was he talking about in the first place? But now.. no nothing at all! Another "wayang" in parliament?

MPs and Ministers get so much pay to do such things and don't seem to follow through?? I think a revise of their pay should be in the works soon... don't you?
