SINGAPORE - Singapore's non-oil domestic exports in June fell 4.6 per cent from a year earlier, due to weakness in electronics shipments, official data showed on Thursday.

International Enterprise Singapore (IE Singapore), the country's trade agency, released the trade data.

Percentage change June May Non-oil domestic exports (m/m*) 1.5 -7.5 Non-oil domestic exports (y/y) -4.6 -6.6 - electronics -17.4 -15.3 - pharmaceuticals 24.3 -26.3 - European Union -3.9 -22.6 - United States -2.9 -8.8 - China 5.3 7.2 Non-oil domestic exports (S$ bln) 13.58 13.24 Non-oil re-exports (y/y) 7.5 -4.7 Total trade (y/y) 2.5 0.4 * m/m data is seasonally adjusted For detailed exports data, see IE Singapore's website at http://www.iesingapore.gov.sg.

Singapore's non-oil domestic exports (NODX) were expected to fall on an annual basis in June for the second straight month, a Reuters poll showed. NODX was expected to fall 2.3 per cent from a year earlier. On a month-on-month seasonally adjusted basis, NODX was seen likely to rise 4.0 per cent.

Singapore's non-oil exports tend to be volatile because a significant portion comprises pharmaceuticals and oil rigs that can vary sharply from month to month.

The most expensive government in the universe cannot do better than the US government. What the hell?

Again and again...

We have many top advisors, few PMO ministers, several ministers and deputies, three? mayors, almost 100 MPs in this tiny island of 770 sq.km. with 3.5 millions citizen population.

Hope the next government would trim it down as a motto of bestest government forever in the world.
