as heralding a sea change no more business as usual.

But if you examine the changes such as Medishield Life, it only fixes something that is long overdue
.and only because it is breaking down ...medical cost escalated at a rate that far outstrip the rise.in wages of ordinary wiorkers...the hugh cost was sinking families one by one into desperation especially those who were not able to get insurance....in other words, thr medical financing system cannot continue as it did....

But medishield is just one bokt that fell out. Years of lopsided policies on wages is far more difficult to undo and there are grave consequences.

The PAP caused the wage gap to widen too much for too long
. While harsh punitive measures keep the lid on workers to make
it futile and dangerous for them to speak up but the resent is there.
Today therr is a massive strike in US by fast food restaurant workers
who are paid minimum wages of US$7.25. This is almost 60% to 80% higher than Singapore...they are on strike to raise it to US$15 per hour because they can no longer cope with
the high cost of living...Singapre is much more expensive than most US cities so you can imagine how lower wage singaporeans feel....this anger is not going away just because of a
few long overdue changes.

The tension and anger is going to find an outlet and it is most likely the GE2016. The PAP cannot avoid this ...and now there is too little to fix it even if they want to do it. They have ignored the need to change for too long and are way behind the curve on this
