PAP MP & lawyer Michael Palmer fighting against defamation suit for PAP supporting President of the now-dead Association of Bloggers Jayne Goh. How ironic!

by Alicia Wong 05:55 AM Jul 16, 2010Member of Parliament Michael Palmer is now representing blogger Jayne Goh in her appeal against a High Court ruling that Ms Goh had defamed teacher Mrs Janet Wong in a blog post.

Mr Palmer, a partner at Harry Elias Partnership, informed the courts of this on Wednesday. The case was first reported by Today last August.

Mrs Wong, represented by lawyers Adrian Tan and Ong Pei Ching from Drew & Napier, sued Ms Goh for alleging online that the former was corrupt.

Ms Goh's former lawyer, Mr Kang Gim Swee, did not respond to queries by press time. The hearing has been adjourned to Sept 13. Alicia Wong

I don't get it. Where is the irony. Was she anti PAP? I had the impression that she was impetuous and self serving.

It would only be ironic if Jayne Goh is anti-PAP, which she is clearly not. In fact, she is a class one pap dog.

It would be ironic too if the teacher in question is a PAP dog and there's no evidence to suggest that this is the case.

So no irony here, indeed it is business as usual of PAP protecting their own kind.
