You people surely heard about about –“fiddle while rome burns”
Do young –gen Sporeans facing a mountain of problems like life quality, traffic space, high cost of living, etc…. You think they care a hoot about the Merger saga?
The worst thing ever happens in Singapore is the island is never a first world, if you compare to China, let say a small province-Fujian, Singapore is still far from the border of the first world mark. But yet most Singaporeans are paying thru their nose for basic needs.
One eye jack in a blind society is king. But they say the blind are gaining sight…..after 50 years ?
Another rib-tickling politicking around the HDB conservancy fee is dumbfounding. This small thing really shows the smallness of human beings.
Come on men, in the first place, in fact ,HDB flat leaseholders are overly charged for the monthly conservancy fees.
Touch your heart, the cleaning contractors are all laughing to the banks…….just imagine one janitor sweep four blocks of flats. This is indeed happening in all HDB dwellings.
Manpower to maintain HDB estates are always not enough. HDB town councils rely on feedback of those wiser dwellers.
If not, all eyes are both closed.
But they when the next bonuses are coming.
Instead of thinking how to improve the standard of cleanliness and maintenance and lower the conservancy fees, why these humans are politicking the fees ?
Coming back, His-tory can never make life better for the present and the future. This is reality. Every country has its history, if they still live in the past, Iphone would not be around.
No wonder Singapore is named first world but the mentality is third world.
Living in the past cannot pay the astronomical bills in the present fairy-tale economy.
Singapore is burning……there is no time for nitpicking and queuing for chicken wings.
You know---“a toothache is more urgent that the pain of the hundreds of thousands peasants” will break Singapore sooner.
