If he truly respects LKY, he should allow him rest in peace and not stir up ill sentiment in his name. Very bad for the diseased.

Former Law Minister K Shanmugam stepped up his politics this election posting on Facebook claiming that the Workers’ Party called him a “barking dog” and the recently-deceased former Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew a liar. The candidate for Nee Soon GRC claimed that a speaker during the Workers’ Party rally last night, Lim Ee Ping, said that Lee Kuan Yew hung onto power until he died. Lee Kuan Yew passed away at the age of 91 as a MP for Tanjong Pagar GRC.
According to PAP cadidate K Shanmugam, he alleged that Lim Ee Ping also called him a barking dog for throwing insults at the Opposition Town Council insinuating the AHPETC is dishonest and might faced criminal sanctions. The AHPETC was never charged for any wrongdoing by the Court and the Singapore Police.
K Shanmugam is not able to produce any video evidence to back up his claims.

However, Lim Ee Ping did not call Shanmugam a “barking dog”. He said the PAP MPs are hounding the Town Council issues like a pack of dogs on a sheep and that K Shanmugam should behave like a gate-watching dog.

I found it very regrettable that at an attack was made on the late Mr LeeKuanYew at the WP at their rally yesterday.
One of the speakers, Mr Lim Ee Ping called Mr Lee a liar who had hung onto power until he died.
For good measure he also called me a barking dog.
Because I had pointed out that the High Court had said that they had been dishonest. And that if their Town Council had been a company, it might have faced criminal sanctions. And that none of my questions on what they did had been answered.
Disappointing that the WP officially sanctions these vile personal attacks, against our founding PM who has passed away; and calling me a dog.
At the same rally Mr Gerald Giam said that they dont engage in personal attacks.”
