How cute, it's 2026 and the PAP technocrats still think blocking websites achieves something.

Singapore has blocked another six websites set up by foreign actors that could be used to mount hostile information campaigns....

https://www.yan.sg/

This 'Chinese news' website was literally set up by Tiongs ('foreign actors') to do hostile information campaigns. It's not being blocked.

Information gatekeeping via cherrypicking again.

The mainstream media in SG is often referred to as the Govt's mouthpiece. Chua Chin Hon, when he was the Straits Times' bureau chief for the US, claimed that the newspaper's editors were pressured into being pro-govt and make sure that reporting of local events meets with the approval of our politicians. Former editor-in-chief, Cheong Yip Seng, claimed that ST has govt-appointed monitors to watch over the newsroom; disapproval from them usually resulted in journalists and editors losing their livelihood. Editors were warned that certain topics were not permissible for public discussion. They only grew balls after they retired.

Blocking accomplishes nothing.

Once upon a time the PAP regime blocked access to a Christian website. Tells you everything you need to know.

What does it actually mean to be a rich country? It depends on how prosperity is measured and who benefits from it. In S'pore, it is mainly the ruling party politicians and their cronies who got rich on the backs of the hard work by the masses, who continue to experience a poor quality of life.

Being the richest country in the world is not just about producing a lot, it is measured by how that wealth concretely translates into the daily life of the ordinary citizen. GDP per capita alone can distort comparisons, since it assumes national output is evenly shared across the population. In S'pore, when 4 in 5 newly created jobs go to foreigners, SG citizens have been left behind.

Countries like Norway, Ireland, Luxembourg, Switzerland and Iceland combine strong economic performance with some of the best social indicators globally. In S'pore, even professionals and managers have difficulty affording private homes and cars. The masses are coping with living in the most expensive city in the world on Third World wages.
