That's the only way otherwise the country will split down the middle. PAP has better make the PA and other so called government bodies appoint elected Opp MPs as their advisors so that they can represent their constituents in these decision making bodies. That is the litmus test of the 'new social compact'. Let's see if the PM is bold enough to take this step.

Also they better prepare for a two party system of government.Again I dare him to make this statement during the Rally!!

So now you're asking smart people to work with morons?

TS has a point. PAP has to be humble and treat WP on an equal basis at least if PAP wants respect from the masses.

Buddhist monks have never achieved this and you expect politicians to be able to so?

Good ideal.... It's another way to bring the nation forward!!!

You expect the nation to move forward when the twits in the WP are trying to drag the country back into the dark ages?

Working together does not mean PAP has to accept all the ideals from WP or even other parties.

Is a way of maybe there's a new solution from other parties that PAP overlook and can explore from there... Is never anything bad to listen to others comments! If it's good, use it. If it's bad, then forget it!!! Simple as that...

What the fuck do we want any of those greedy self serving vicious unprincipled bastards in white for?

What the fuck are you talking about?
More of those stinking corrupt PAP to teach other parties how to be as fucking corrupt as they are?

why should the PAP work together with WP, that currently has only 7 seats in parliament ? the only way the PAP will collaborate with WP to some degree to run the country is when WP has 40, not 7 seats in parliament. if WP comes into power, i wouldn't want to see the WP working together with PAP. just let the WP run the government on its own.

I don't think PAP will support an opposition even if it is for the good of Singapore. I truly believe Singapore need a stronger opposition to ensure a healthy debate so that policy benefiting true Singaporeans will be made

i am worried if the PAP support WP. it means that they are in cahoots.

All I am saying is that if the PAP truely wants to unite the widening chasms in the two fractions, it got to make this move. No more symbolic gestures or political grandstanding. It got to treat WP as a partner. Maybe it can offer LTK a minister post or something. It's quite common in other countries. We should follow too.

do name a country where the ruling party with 90% seats gives the other party with 10% seats a minister post.
