"Sick" used by man on woman has many meanings. It need not literally mean their gal has caught a flu, fever or not feeling well.
When Palmer said Laura is "sick", two immediate scenarios came into my mind:
1) Laura into SM during sex and caused Palmer to lost interest in sex with her?
2) Laura kept asking for favour from Palmer until she became a turned off point for Palmer to continue having relationship?
"Sick" is a degrading word, you are sick could be you are abnormal, unusual, beyond hope. As such, Laura felt the passion is getting lesser from Palmer everytime they met on Monday?
Palmer defended himself, telling Laura not to hallucinate their reletionship because he has already "helped" her.
"Help" is another choice of word worth investigating.
"HELP" could mean bribery as in Ng Boon Gay saga. It could be fund taken out of tax payers money via approving all her unrelated expenses, promotion prospect, covering up fraud, favour for family members, businesses....etc similar to TT Durai case. The best way to conceal such possiblity is to deny that Laura was his immediate staff as claimed at the press conference. Sound fishy?
The above conversation and outings sure make sense. Now...will our high horse high moral PAP walk the talk by carrying out a thorough investigation into the matter and check Laura's bank account to see any abnormal huge transactions she has been receiving?
