that's y they are trying to advocate ppl to own their own vessels, by coming up with more & more yacht clubs located in the ulu foresaken corners of sg, while sports council is promoting & encouraging more youths to take up sailing as sport.

in times of need, ppl can take their own sampans to make pilgrimage to the neighboring islands, when needed.
