This may sound preposterous, but china has been fairly successful in doing that. The
chinese people think they're a great race and the world loves them - due to vast censorship by the CCP.

They are not aware of how the world is getting weary of their fake products and personal conduct. When other people criticise them on human rights or other issues, they get worked up and pick a fight.

So, the strategy of controlling how people access cyberspace DOES work.
