Alamak is a Portuguese or Japanese word.
Portuguese. Phonetically close to the Chinese term "Oh, my mother!". It expresses shock/surprise. Possibly from Malaysia. (http://www.aussiepete.com/2008/05/singlish-language-guide-for-foreigners.html?m=1)
Japanese. Also used by japanese people but the 'l' sounds more like an 'r'. alamak -aramak (the meaning is still the same). Example - aramak, kono kanji wa mou wasurete shimaimashita! (http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=alamak)
