Generally it would seem that Oppo supporters have lower incomes and educational qualifications. Notice the term 'generally'. Due to the income disparity, they are incensed by the fact that foreigners are making it more difficult for them to overcome the odds.
Of course there's the usual group of elderly folks who will support PAP no matter what (and clearly they are not highly educated).
But what I am saying is if we look at an age group of say 21 - 40.
It is very often that people like you, still want to 'pull wool over people's eyes'....no, they lower income people have long managed to fit in with the loss of jobs to the blue collar jobs in which the foreigners have taken over, the Malaysians, then the Thais, then at one time, the Koreans & the Indians, Banglas, etc.. These people have found a 'niche' for themselves by reinventing. They resentment is the eve, rising costs brought about by the PAP leadership.
If you are from the P.M.E.T. group, your rice bowls would have been smashed since 1985....these are the main group of people, who is finding it extremely difficult to serve Reservist, Maintain a family, maintain a lifestyle, maintain a ever expensive government...
These people faces a great challenge to find work, if they loses the one they are holding...these plus the lower income group are the oppositions, ranging from those born from 1965- 1985 & beyond.
Those from 1921-1945-1964...have 'sold their soul to the devil, this election....due to the 'confetti of money'...
