近日，业内不断传出苹果四处求购5G的基带芯片，一直没有大进展，而又有消息称，华为有可能向苹果供应5G的基带芯片。4月11日华为P30发布会，在采访余承东时，有记者提出这个问题，余承东表示他是持开放的心态，只是美国政府要打压华为，即使苹果想用也肯定会受到限制。
无论如何，我们面对一个非常奇妙的局面，苹果需要5G的基带芯片，寻找合作并不顺利，华为却持开放的心态，一定程度伸出了橄榄枝，不过最终苹果能不能用上华为基带，这还要慢慢看情况，但是分析这个局，真让人感叹这是一个妙局。
苹果为什么找不到5G基带芯片

长期使用一家厂商的芯片，对于手机厂商来说，无疑是不够安全的，因为这样的话，如果核心配件出现断供，这个厂商就意味着可能全面崩溃，所以必须要寻找多厂商供货，在这样的指导思想下，苹果引进了英特尔作为合作伙伴，应该说苹果这样的做法，也是一个正常的做法。
当然这种情况一定程度上伤害了高通的利益，而在整个合作过程中，苹果的处理很有些店大欺客的做法，最后导致高通对苹果非常不爽，引发了一系列的知识产权官司，应该说那几项专利的官司，本质不是什么专利问题，包括苹果指责高通的知识产权收费模式是整机还是某个配件收费，都是斗气，即使是整机收费，费率很低，也就不算什么嘛，而且高通对于采用它芯片的企业很多是不收知识产权费的。归根到底是苹果和高通在购买基带芯片上，双方为了各自利益在斗气，而苹果也有点店大欺客，让高通很受伤。
正是因为这样的官司和争斗，在新一代的苹果手机中，就没有采用高通的基带芯片，对苹果而言，如果要用高通的基带芯片，那就是向高通投降，以前所有斗气的举动都意味着失败和认输。所以即使高通释放出善意，CEO表示，如果苹果需要高通的5G基带芯片，可以打电话。但是苹果真要打这个电话，那就是向高通低了头，这对世界上最强大的公司苹果，是一个比登天还难的事。
苹果不用高通的5G基带芯片，只剩下两个选择，一个是自研，一个是向其它企业购买。
先说自研，通信基带这个事，真不是说做就能做得出，还是需要资金、人才、长时间的技术积累。对于苹果来说，钱没有问题，人才也可以挖，但是技术积累，还真的没有，而通信技术就是一天天用时间熬出来的，今天世界上的基带芯片熬剩下的企业只有5家左右，英特尔在这个领域耕耘了十几年，基带芯片也还有需要完善的地方，让苹果自己短时间研发出来，做成稳定的产品，用在自己的5G手机，就是做得出来，苹果自己也不敢用，今天苹果哪一款手机出货不是上亿，如果十万分之一有问题，那就不是小问题，苹果声誉就会受到巨大影响。所以尽管今天苹果也是做了自己的自研队伍，但是要用自研基带芯片，它做出来也不敢用。
购买，现在苹果有几个可以购买的对象，除了高通之外，那就是英特尔，它们一直合作得不错，不过英特尔的基带芯片积累还是需要一个过程，在4G芯片的评价中稳定性也还是有需要完善的地方，现在能不能按时供应5G基带？苹果一直在寻找其它合作伙伴，显然对于英特尔能提供保证品质的5G基带芯片的信心不足。
除了英特尔之外，三星也是一家，其实目前三星最初的5G手机，采用的也还是高通芯片，它自己的5G基带芯片行不行，也还是不太稳固的事，最近又传出消息说三星已经拒绝了苹果，说是自己的供货量不足，不管如何这都说明一个问题，苹果也没有在三星得到提供5G基带芯片的承诺。
下面还有一家是联发科，在3G和4G时代，联发科也还是一家有相当实力的公共芯片供应商，但是综合实力和技术研发能力和高通还是有差距，包括和后来的华为海思相比，也逐渐有差距，在技术上有差距的情况下，品牌形象也有一定差距，到今天一般企业用联发科的芯片，都不太会是旗舰手机，如果和联发科合作，苹果不仅会面对着技术上风险，也会面临品牌的打击。
这样看起来，高通苹果不愿意用，自己研发短时间不能用，三星不愿意卖，联发科也难选择去买，一个5G基带芯片，真是难坏了世界手机巨头。本来不太可能的华为就浮出水面，有了那么一点可能性。

但是为什么华为多位领导表态对于向苹果供应5G基带芯片保持开放呢？现在苹果急于购买5G基带芯片，华为的5G基带芯片无论是性能还是供货能力上，都是有保证的，在技术上这是一个很好的选择。这就要看华为愿意不愿意。前面提到对于一般友商华为是不愿意的，为什么对苹果反而愿意呢？
华为今天在世界上发展，受到最大的压力不是自己的技术 ，也不是能力，还是政治上的打压，今天华为无法进入的几个市场，美国、韩国、巴西，都不是产品和技术的问题，而是政治方面的问题。美国一直借口华为设备和产品有安全问题，把华为挡在门外，尤其是近两年，在美国市场更加困难。如果华为的5G基带被苹果采用，这也从事实上证明，华为产品有安全问题的说法不攻自破，如果苹果手机不存在安全问题，那不说明华为芯片也没有安全问题？而且和苹果合作，也在很大程度上证明了华为芯片的强大能力，对于华为的美誉度和信任度也会大大提升。很多对华为的指责也很难站得住脚，这在很大程度上也打破了美国对华为的围堵。
这个意义上，通过芯片供应，间接进入美国市场，一点点击破对华为的围堵，这也许是一个很好的机会。因此，在5G芯片上，华为从来不追求自己成为一个公共的芯片企业，但是却打算对苹果网开一面，释放出合作的善意。
当然苹果能不能采用华为的5G基带芯片，虽然华为有善意，苹果也许也有想法，但也还是需要过美国政府这一关，美国政府一定会施加压力，阻止此事发生，最后真正的实现可能性还是存在很多疑问。
不过当今世界上，意想不到的事也不是一件，其实对于美国政府而言。说华为设备有安全问题，不过是借口，随着贸易战的缓和，一方面也是对中国做了退让，同时也解了苹果依赖高通的芯片之困，也不是完全没有一点可能。最终结果如何，我们也只能拭目以待了。
