Woman killed by train

A CHINESE national was hit and killed by a train that was travelling from Malaysia to Singapore early Tuesday morning. Her body, which sustained facial injuries, was found near the railway track off Hillview Avenue. Police said they received a call from a member of the public at around 8.10 am and the woman was pronounced dead by paramedics 20 minutes later.

The Straits Times understands that she was hit by a Malayan Railway (KTM) train, which did not stop after the incident. When contacted, a KTM staff said that there was no train stoppage and service was unaffected throughout the day. It is not clear if the woman was trying to cross the track near Hillview Park Condominium to get to the Upper Bukit Timah main road. Police have classified the case as unnatural death and said investigations are on-going.

When The Straits Times visited the scene, police officers were seen working around the track area which was sealed off. A security guard at the nearby Hillview Park condominium said he was unaware of what happened but noted that residents of the estate often take strolls out of the condominium to the nearby grass patch area near the railway track.

When two Chinese disagree with each other, the idea of having a friendly debate is alien to Chinese culture. To a Chinaman, the only way of resolving the issue is to resort to violence.

It goes without saying that when it comes to matters of the heart, the best way of resolving the issue is to commit mass murder.

If this is what 5000 years of civilisation has produced, I hate to think what Chinese society will be like in another 5000 years.

If she want to cross the train rail track. Then she die of her stupidity low IQ. Train take less than 1 min to pass. She just have to wait that 1 min.

It also shows how misunderstood our Sporeans are on our beloved PRs who have unselfishly uprooted themselves to come to the South Sea to contribute to our economy - working in areas Sporeans shun and creating employment for Sporeans and other FTs with their wealth.

In this case it was not the train who langa the PR - it was the PR who langa the train!

Seriously she might have been frustrated over the xenophonic feeling among her Sporean neighbours and colleagues.

What about the train driver? He didn't see or hear a thing - in the darkness. His mind must be on the last day of the 7th month. What would you have done in his place if you see a figure dressed in white on a mistly early dawn in some remote place?

And then the famous case of the man who was murdered elsewhere and left on the track to be run over by the train?
