A stern warning administered
The police finally completed their investigations into Jason Tan's case last week, some 2 months after police reports were filed against him.
The police said that after careful considerations, it has been decided that a “stern warning be administered to the defendant in lieu of prosecution”.
Last Wednesday (10 Jun), Jason Tan who threatened to cut off Amos Yee's penis was warned by the Chief Investigation Officer, DSP Tan Pit Seng in the presence of Senior Investigation Officer Henry Chua, police said in a letter to one of the people who had filed a complaint against Jason Tan.
